Australian Barley (Barley)
Australia is a major exporter of barley, supplying 30-40% of the world's brewed barley exports and 20% of its feed barley exports. As the raw material of brewing and feed, Australian barley has high quality, so it is in great demand both at home and abroad. In Australia, new varieties of brewing barley are being evaluated and approved through a voluntary certification process administered by the barley council of Australia.
Australian barley is mainly used as animal feed and brewing materials. Australia's largest barley producing states are Western Australia, Southern Australia, New South Wales and Victoria, with a total output of about 95,000 tons.
